The Arlington Heights Junior Woman's club is celebrating 82 years of community service with an annual benefit and retro game night, Flashback Friday: Game On! at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at Rolling Green Country Club. Proceeds benefit Special Gifts Theatre and Kids Fight Cancer.

The retro themed evening will include hors d'oeuvres, drinks, silent auction, raffles, and games. AHJWC event co-chairman Marianne Corcoran is "looking forward to an entertaining evening with a little something for everyone". Tickets are available for $50 per person on www.ahjwc.org.

Founded in 1933, the Arlington Heights Junior Woman's Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of volunteer women who promote service projects and fundraising for those in need in the Northwest suburbs. Community support and involvement are vital as President Erica Kubow says, "We want to thank the companies, members, and groups who have supported us throughout the years. We are honored to serve our community."
