Church stands for respect, tolerance

The Council of Southminster Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights would like the Muslim community to know we respect all people and stand against intolerance to any group of people.

As people of faith, we follow God's call to "do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with our God." Jesus taught peace. Peace to us means stopping fear and hatred toward those who worship differently or don't look like us.

Living together in harmony with our Muslim neighbor is one way we as Christians can promote understanding and a more peaceful world.
