Hernani scores twice as Olympiakos beats Asteras 2-1

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Olympiakos scored after only 37 seconds as two goals by Hernani guided the champion to a 2-1 win at Asteras in the Greek league on Sunday.

Hernani opened the scoring following an assist from Costas Fortounis and he made it 2-0 in the 49th minute, after being played in by Pajtim Kasami.

Elini Dimoutsos pulled one back for Asteras in the 90th.

Olympiakos, with a 20-point advantage and a game in hand over second-place AEK Athens, which lost 1-0 at Panetolikos, has already won its 43rd league title.

Kalloni, which lost 3-0 at PAOK and Panthrakikos, 1-0 loser to visiting Atromitos, were officially relegated.

Which team joins Olympiakos in the Champions League will now be determined by playoffs between those finishing second to fifth.
