Prosecutor gives talk for crime week

Lake County State's Attorney Michael Nerheim on April 14 will present a lively and serious interactive program called "Beat the Blame Game" to coincide with National Crime Victims' Rights week. Participants will learn to change the culture of blaming victims and gain tools for bystander intervention. There is no cost to attend. The program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the lower level auditorium, Building C at the College of Lake County's Grayslake campus, on Washington Street west of Route 45.
