Kids enjoy egg-cellent hunt at Bensenville park

So what if the weather called for ear muffs.

When you're skipping - nay, hopping - in between colorful eggs, there's only one kind of head gear right for the occasion: Bunny ears.

Angel Soto, 3, knew as much when he put on a fluffy pair for the third-annual Easter Eggstravaganza in Bensenville's Varble Park Saturday.

Kids, ages 2 to 4, first lined up with their spotters (parents) behind a ribbon before the Easter bunny gave them the cue to start hunting.

Then the Easter egg hunt was off, with kids loading up their baskets.
