Have coffee with Gurnee mayor

Gurnee Mayor Kristina Kovarik will be in the community to meet residents Saturday during her Coffee With the Mayor session set for 10 a.m. to noon at Panera Bread Co., 6557 Grand Ave. Kovarik launched the periodic series in 2007 as a way to meet with residents informally, outside of board meetings and other official events. Kovarik last year started hosting the gatherings at a variety of businesses, not just coffee shops or restaurants.
