Dining events: Hofbrauhaus turns Mad Haus during March Madness

Hofbrauhaus' spring eats

Hofbrauhaus celebrates spring with several new food offerings. During March Madness and Champions League soccer games, try the beef sliders, pulled pork sliders, pretzel bites and more for $9.99. Giordano's newest location

Giordano's Famous Stuffed Pizza recently opened a new location in Schaumburg. The full-service restaurant boasts seating for 160 and offers dine-in, carryout and a special entrance for quick pick ups and delivery service. Or take a frozen pizza home for later. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Giordano's Famous Stuffed Pizza is at 930 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg. Bread & Butter Cafe coming to Palatine

The former Grammy D's Family Restaurant in Palatine has a new tenant coming. Bread & Butter Cafe will have a similar menu as its predecessor. Tentative hours are 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Bread & Butter Cafe will be at 147 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
