'Native Peoples of Illinois' topic of Gevena library talk
Batavia resident Meg Bero will explore "Native Peoples of Illinois" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Geneva Public Library, 127 James St. The public is invited. Admission is free.
The event will include a reception, Geneva Library Foundation information and the presentation followed by a question session.
Bero is executive director of the Schingoethe Center of Aurora University and an instructor in museum studies. The center focuses on preserving Native American cultures.
Bero's program is part of the Speaker Series sponsored by the Geneva Library Foundation.
