Girls on the Town to hit streets of downtown Palatine in April
The annual Girls on the Town event (and boys are invited, too) will be held on Friday, April 15. All are invited to join the fun in downtown Palatine.
Girls on the Town will feature more than a dozen Downtown Palatine Business Association member businesses and organizations, all of whom will open their doors for the duration of the event. Each of the 17 businesses will feature product and service demonstrations, special offers and giveaways and exciting raffles, in addition to complimentary food and wine tastings.
"All of the DPBA members are thrilled to be able to showcase who we are to area residents during this yearly event," said Celia Kalleborn, DPBA co-president and owner of Sweet C's Bakery. "It's always so much fun when people come out with a group of friends or family members and enjoy the evening in historic downtown Palatine as they support our small businesses."
A Passport is required to participate in the event, which will be on sale for $5 at all participating DPBA member businesses, starting Friday, April 1.
Participating businesses include: Anne's Unique Boutique, Arete Salon and Spa, American Legion Post 690, CC Additudes, Cook, Cork and Fork, Durty Nellie's, Foxglove Cottage, Garfield's Beverage Warehouse, Harrington Manor, JL's Pizza and Sports Bar, Monson Jewelers, Palatine Bank and Trust, Salon MMM, Sweet C's Bakery, Tap House Grill, The Music Room and State Farm Insurance Agent, Bill Belmonte.
"The DPBA is an organization that works very hard to support one another, and to encourage area residents to shop local whenever possible," said John Reutsche, DPBA co-president and owner of Harrington Manor with his wife, Vicki. "Come on out and support us and have a great time!"
Girls on the Town will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 15, in downtown Palatine. Visit www.DowntownPalatine.org for more information.
