Authorities identify victim found in river near St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Authorities have identified a man whose body was found in the Mississippi River near St. Louis.

The body found Saturday was that of 38-year-old Mickey Heflin of West Alton, Missouri. An autopsy determined Heflin had drowned. There were no signs of trauma on his body.

The Madison County, Illinois, Fire Department recovered the remains about noon Saturday.
