Meridian Compensation Partners opens Los Angeles Office

LAKE FOREST - Meridian Compensation Partners, LLC, an executive compensation and corporate governance consulting firm, said it has opened an office in Los Angeles, its tenth location in North America.

With two offices in California at San Francisco and Los Angeles, Meridian is poised to expand its West Coast presence across the region, the company said in a release.

Linda Steffen lead consultant who has been serving the West Coast marketplace since 1993, will be in charge of the Los Angeles office. Steffen has over 20 years of experience providing compensation and financial performance advice to boards of directors and top executives. She focuses on designing programs that align compensation with business strategy and value creation for shareholders.

In addition, Steffen consults on a variety of corporate transactions, including: acquisitions, mergers, spins, separations, IPOs and going-private and she has extensive experience across multiple industries and businesses with unique operating and financial situations. She has significant current experience consulting with recently public companies and companies in other transitional phases.

Prior to joining Meridian, she held senior consulting roles with Farient Advisors, Compensia, Towers Watson (formerly Watson Wyatt) and Deloitte. Steffen also headed the compensation group at Amazon.com. Linda began her career as a corporate banker in Chicago.
