Congress needs to validate Cuba relationship

Only two businesses have invested within Cuba at the present time -- the reason being that access to trade and tourism has only been granted by President Obama's executive order.

Therefore, a change in administration could just as easily write the opposite - and new business does not want to gamble with startup costs.

Other issues include extending credit, hiring Cuban citizens for local connection, construction of brick-and-mortor presence, etc.

The real problem is shown by a measure by Rep. Kathy Castor, a Tampa Democrat, calling for lifting the travel and trade embargo by Congress that validates Obama's orders.

Only the application of enough money and skin presence could stop a simple signature from eliminating advancement.
