Kasich is best for GOP, America

Our nation faces big challenges ahead, namely the ever-growing federal debt and deficit, that will require big and bold solutions to tackle. John Kasich is the only presidential candidate in this race who has the proven record and experience to put America on a sounder, more responsible financial path.

While other candidates talk about balancing the budget and shrinking government, John Kasich has done it. In Congress, he led the charge as chairman of the Budget Committee to successfully balance the federal budget. Further as the governor of Ohio, he cut taxes by $5 billion and shrank state payroll to its lowest level in 30 years.

Today, it is understandable why so many are frustrated with the status quo by President Obama and Congress. The federal government continues to grow, while individuals, small businesses, families, and workers feel like they are being forced to get by with less.

It is more than unfair, and it is why we must bring fiscal responsibility to Washington. John Kasich understands that when that is achieved, money, power and influence is in the hands of the American people, not lifelong bureaucrats.

In his first 100 days, Kasich has pledged to make government smaller, less costly and more responsive to what America needs -- more jobs, a fairer tax-code and fewer barriers to economic growth.

John Kasich, the candidate in the best position to beat Hillary Clinton in November, is ready to get to work, and I am proud to support him.
