Police: 5 vehicles burglarized at Arlington Heights hotels

Burglars targeted five vehicles overnight Wednesday in Arlington Heights hotel parking lots, police said Friday.

Offenders broke into a 2015 Ford Explorer, 2016 Dodge Ram pickup truck and 2008 GMC box truck at 2111 S. Arlington Heights Road, and stole a GPS, computer monitor and backpack. No value was given.

Burglars also stole a GPS and cellphone out of an unlocked 1999 Nissan Quest at 22 W. Algonquin Road. Value was estimated at $209.

And burglars broke into a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban in a hotel lot at 100 W. Algonquin Road and stole three handbags, wallet, GPS knife, and tactical baton. Value was estimated at $500.
