Dining events: Mt. Prospect's Randhurst hosts first restaurant week March 13-19

Mount Prospect welcomes its new restaurant week Sunday through Saturday, March 13-19, in Randhurst Village, where 11 restaurants will participate. Four restaurants will offer a three-course lunch menu and a dinner prix fixe menu that ranges from $12.99 to $35. They are: BlackFinn Ameripub, e + o Food and Drink, Outback Steakhouse and Truco Taqueria. Other restaurants participating with specials and coupons are: Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mike's Subs, Steak 'n Shake, Naf Naf Grill, Menchies Frozen Yogurt, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Subway. The Hilton's St. Patrick's Day shindig

The Hilton in Oak Brook hosts a St. Patrick's Day shindig from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 13, that includes an Irish feast and performances by the Trinity Irish Dancers. A buffet includes Irish bacon and cabbage soup, colcannon, corned beef, trout with Irish butter and dill, chicken and dumplings, shepherd's pie, Irish minted peas, carrots with marmalade and whiskey glaze, assorted olives and pickles, Bailey's Irish Cream parfait, chocolate mint brownies, date rice pudding and standard kids offerings. $18.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids 5 to 12.
