Missing teen from Des Plaines area home safe

A teen missing from the Des Plaines area has returned home safe, authorities said.

Doriana Norwood, 19, was last seen about 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Harbour House in the 300 block of North East River Road in an unincorporated area near Des Plaines. Norwood told staff there she was taking the bus to attend a job fair at a hotel in Schaumburg that morning and never returned.

The missing woman returned home late Thursday, Cook county officials said.
