Galena Boulevard closed due to accident in Aurora

Galena Boulevard is closed between Highland Avenue and Lake Street in Aurora due to an injury accident.
The accident at 8:10 a.m. resulted in downed power lines and transformers.
Authorities are not sure when the roadway would be reopened, officials said.
There is no additional information regarding the crash.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
