Park vandalism on rise in Buffalo Grove

The Buffalo Grove Police Department reports that it has received several complaints of vandalism in area parks over the past few weeks.

This vandalism consists mainly of graffiti and appears to be taking place during the late evening and overnight hours.

The police department is asking that residents be alert to suspicious people and activity in or around the parks after dark. Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity or has information about the graffiti is asked to call the police department at (847) 459-2560.
