District 95 to host band festival

Lake Zurich Unit District 95 will host a band festival for all grade levels Tuesday, April 12. All pupils who participate in band from fifth grade through senior year in high school will perform starting at 7 p.m. Each level will have an opportunity to perform separately, capped by two pieces for which all 600-plus band students play together. The guest conductor for the evening will be Beth Peterson from the University of Illinois. Peterson is a former Lake Zurich High School band director.
