Spring Choral Concert: Gounod's St. Cecilia Mass

Sunday, March 20, at 4 p.m., First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights will present a Holy Week choral concert featuring Charles Gounod's "St. Cecilia Mass," performed by the church's Chancel Choir and orchestra. "St. Cecilia Mass" is a beautiful and solemn sacred work composed in 1855, in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music. The concert will be conducted by Dr. Alan Wellman, associate director of music at First Presbyterian.

This concert is part of the 2015-2016 Concert Series season at First Presbyterian. All concert events are free and open to the public, with free child care provided.
