Mississippi hospital signs vendor agreement with Medline

MUNDELEIN - Memorial Hospital at Gulfport recently signed a five-year prime vendor deal with Medline, valued at $55 million, which includes online reporting tools to track purchases, usage, pricing and shipment status.

Medline will provide the in Mississippi-based multi-specialty medical complex with an extensive portfolio of essential medical supplies and solutions that will better position the system to enhance patient outcomes, as well as streamline supply chain operations and manage costs.

As part of the deal, Memorial Hospital at Gulfport will utilize the medical supplier's online reporting tool called Medline INSIGHT to get a better understanding of general and specific information about purchases, usage, pricing, orders and shipment status. Users can utilize interactive dashboards and run reports, including total spend per month by facility, department, product category, vendor/supplier, yearly and monthly usage reports and more.
