History of hats in Geneva at lunch talk
The Geneva History Museum, 113 S. Third St., will present "Hats Off to Geneva" at noon Tuesday, March 8.
Learn stories of the long history of hats as markers of status, occupation and political affiliation.
View some of the many hats in the museum's collection made by Geneva's fine milliners, presented by Heidi Howlett, museum educator. Wear your favorite hat to the lunch.
Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch and the museum offers cookies, water, tea and coffee.
Admission is $5 each or $3 for museum members. Registration is encouraged to ensure seating and can be made at www.genevahistorymuseum.org at (630) 232-4951.
The Brown Bag Lunch Program is held at noon on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May.
