Low Vision Fair @ East Wing Glenview Senior Center April 1

Learn about topics related to limited or low vision through a keynote speaker and products and services available to individuals through the variety of vendors and public organizations that will be on-site for the event. Diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma screening will also be available at the event.

Come to the 2016 Low Vision Fair at the The East Wing, Glenview Senior Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., Glenview, on Friday, April 1, from 1-4PM. This event is free and open to everyone. No registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.

Program:

1-4 p.m.: Vendors and testing

Screenings: Glaucoma screening provided by North Shore Eye and Vision Center; Diabetic retinopathy screening, sponsored by the Park Ridge Lions Club

Vendors related to assisting individuals with limited vision

Supportive public service agencies that support individuals with limited vision

2-3 p.m.: Keynote speaker: Dr. Jack Cohen; Topic: Update on Macular Degeneration. Question and answer period to follow
