SEATTLE (AP) - Jordin Canada scored eight of her 26 points in overtime, Monique Billings added 22 points, and No. 12 UCLA shook California in the extra session for a 73-67 win in the Pac-12 semifinals on Saturday night.
Kari Korver's 3-pointer with 7 seconds left in regulation helped force overtime, but she missed the free throw on the potential four-point play that could have given UCLA the lead. Asha Thomas' 3-point attempt at the buzzer rimmed off for California.
The Golden Bears scored first in overtime but UCLA (24-7) ran off the next seven points, five of them by Canada. Courtney Range scored for Cal with 43 seconds left to pull within 68-65 but the Bruins made 6 of 8 free throws in the final 37 seconds.
Pac-12 freshman of the year Kristine Anigwe led California (15-17) with 26 points and 15 rebounds.
UCLA advanced to the tournament final for the fourth time and first since 2013. It will face No. 8 Oregon State on Sunday.
Courtney Range added 17 points for 10th-seeded California, which was trying to become the lowest seed to reach the championship game in tournament history.
UCLA took its first lead of the game on Billings' basket on the opening possession of the fourth quarter, but Cal hung around and Anigwe gave the Bears a 57-56 lead scoring underneath with 2:17 remaining, her first points since 5:45 left in the third quarter. Lajahna Drummer hit a pair of free throws for UCLA and after the teams exchanged empty possessions Anigwe corralled an entry pass in heavy traffic and scored with 53 seconds left to give the Bears a 59-58 lead.
Anigwe then blocked Billings shot on the low block with 40 seconds left and, after a series of fouls to put Cal in the bonus, Thomas hit a pair of free throws with 27 seconds left for a 61-58 lead. Nirra Fields missed an attempt at a tying 3 for UCLA, but Cal's Gabby Green missed a pair of free throws with 16 seconds left. Korver came off a series of screens and hit the contested 3 while being fouled by Range with 7 seconds remaining. Korver's free throw rimmed off and Thomas' 3-point attempt at the buzzer was offline sending the game to overtime.
