Relay For Life of Barrington annual event set for June 10
Relay For Life of Barrington will be holding their signature fundraising event this year on June 10 at Barrington High School.
According to a news release, the group hopes to have another impressive turnout after last year they raised the 11th highest total in the state, all the more impressive because there were 165 Relay For Life events in Illinois in 2015. In its 19-year history, Relay For Life of Barrington has raised $4.7 million for cancer research and prevention programs but also for services for patients and their families in Barrington.
Survivors, their families and all those who have been affected by this disease come together to walk, run and celebrate around the Barrington High football stadium track starting at 5 p.m. on June 10.
