Palatine Jaycees to hide 3,500 Easter eggs for this year's hunt
The Palatine Jaycees will entertain local children on the Sunday before Easter with a big Easter egg hunt at Towne Square on Palatine Road.
"We will be hiding 3,500 Easter eggs filled with candy and prizes in the grassy area of Towne Square," Sarah Harwerth-De Marco, the project's co-chair, said in a news release. "Each age group (of children) will be sent out separately to collect eggs."
The event is for kids up to 9 years old. The Easter bunny will also be in attendance for pictures.
The Easter egg hunt starts at noon on Sunday, March 20.
