Ideas increase chances of voter fraud
I read the article about the Democrats pushing for automatic voter registration in Illinois and nearly fell off of my chair laughing.
Do you mean to tell me that they would like all residents to become voters? Noble idea, but how can our government ensure that all new voters are American citizens? Oh, that's right, just trust me on that one.
This idea comes from the people that cannot keep the current voter rolls clean. After all, how many dead voters are still on the voter rolls? The fact is there are dead and illegal voters currently on the rolls in all counties.
This sounds like another pitch to get more illegal Democratic voters.
Another justification is that this will improve voter turnout. In case anyone hasn't noticed all ideas to increase voter turnout (like expanding the early voting season and same day registration) in the past have done nothing but open the process up for more fraud.
In fact our early voting season is so long that it is now a joke and has done nothing to increase turnout. Stop the madness. Contact your state legislator and tell them that this idea should never see the light of day. I don't want additional ways for illegal and ineligible voters to cancel out my legal vote.
