Saint Gilbert Earns Math Awards

Carmel High School sponsors a junior high math contest for 7th & 8th grade students annually in March. This competition tests students on basic algebra and geometry skills as well as mathematical logic type problems. Saint Gilbert School participated in the competition by sending a five member 7th grade team as well as a five member 8th grade team. The 7th grade team earned a 2nd place and the 8th grade team earned a 1st place in the middle division. In addition, two students earned individual awards: Ben earned a 3rd place and Jason earned a 2nd place, again in the middle division.
