No one injured in Naperville fire
No one was injured during a fire at a Naperville multifamily residence Wednesday night.
The Naperville Fire Department responded to a 911 call for a report of smoke inside a residential building in the 1900 block of Carlsbad Circle around 6:52 p.m., according to a news release.
The fire was found to be burning in a bathroom, which was quickly extinguished and confined to the area of origin, the release said.
Two pet dogs were rescued safely from the residence, which is uninhabitable.
Officials from the Warrenville Fire Protection District, Naperville Police Department, Plainfield Fire Protection District and Wheaton Fire Department also assisted.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
