Kite decorating contest at Grayslake library

Grayslake Area Public Library will sponsor a kite decorating contest for children. Officials have announced the 23rd annual kite decorating contest will run from Sunday, March 6, through Sunday, April 24. Children ages 3 to 13 can pick up a kite template, decorate it at home and return it to the library by April 24. All participants will receive a small prize. Winners will be declared in three age groups. All kites will be displayed in the library, 100 Library Lane.
