RSVP by Friday for Women's History Month Brunch

The 2016 Women's History Month Brunch will be held 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Elgin Community College Business Center dining room, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

Featured will be museum curator Elizabeth Carlson's talk, "The Rise and Fall of Women's Underwear."

The novel and sometimes naughty presentation by museum curator Elizabeth Carlson will unveil facts and expose myths about women's "unmentionables" as well as relate women's amusing and sometimes uncomfortable relationship with their foundations.

This event is sponsored by Elgin Area American Association of University Women, Altrusa International Club of Elgin, Elgin Community College, Fox Valley Beaux Arts, Gamma Xi Chapter Foundation for Educational Pursuits, Elgin Area League of Women Voters, Women in Management-Fox Valley, and YWCA Elgin.

Reservations are required for the $15 event and can be made online at ywcaelgin.org/WHB16 by Friday, March 4.
