UPC Concert Series presents saxophone quartet
A saxophone quartet called Café Quatour will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13, as part of the United Protestant Church of Grayslake Concert Series.
The quartet will play selections that span the stylings of baroque arrangements of Bach to upbeat tunes by modern-day composers. Members of Café Quatour first played together while students at North Central College in Naperville. Its members are Ton Tran, soprano sax; Richard Hradek, alto sax; Kateri Tumminello, tenor sax; and Michael Schwartz, baritone sax.
The concert will be held at United Protestant Church sanctuary, 54 S. Whitney St. in downtown Grayslake. A freewill offering will be received.

The next UPC concert series event will be April 24 at 3 p.m. featuring the UPC Grace Notes Bell Choir and ensembles.
The United Protestant Church of Grayslake is affiliated with the United Church of Christ Fox Valley Association and the United Methodist Church Northern Illinois Conference. Worship services are at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. Sundays, with Christian education for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Sundays during the school year.
