Palatine is Turning 150: Residents and Businesses are Invited to Get Involved!

The Palatine 150 Core Committee warmly invites area residents and businesses to play a part in Palatine's Sesquicentennial Celebration throughout 2016.

The Village of Palatine will officially turn 150 on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Palatine residents and area businesses are invited to get involved in activities, events and other opportunities to play a part in this milestone year in the village's history.

Volunteers are needed to assist at a variety of 'Palatine 150' events and activities, including the Founders Day kick-off event on Saturday, April 2; the Downtown Palatine Business Association 'Girls on the Town' event on Friday, April 15; the Farmers' Market starting in May, and other partner events which can be found at palatine150.com/event-directory.

Businesses and other organizations are also invited to become a sponsor of the Sesquicentennial Year. Benefits include: Ad space in the Daily Herald Palatine 150 Keepsake Insert which will publish on Friday, April 1; business or organization name on a Village of Palatine street pole banner from April through November (sponsors receive the banner as a keepsake when they are taken down); presence on the Palatine 150 website; and other promotional marketing opportunities.
