Free tax help

The Fremont Public Library District, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, is offering income-tax preparation assistance through AARP at the library Monday and Friday mornings through April 18. This free volunteer-run service is available to taxpayers with middle and low incomes, with special attention to those over age 60. Call (847) 918-3225 to make an appointment.
