Derrick Rose to miss game with right hamstring tendinitis

CHICAGO (AP) - Derrick Rose is out of the Chicago Bulls' lineup for Wednesday night's game against the Washington Wizards because of right hamstring tendinitis.

Rose said it was his decision not to play and mostly precautionary.

The Bulls also are without leading scorer Jimmy Butler, who is missing his seventh game with a left knee strain, and Nikola Mirotic, who has appendicitis. Joakim Noah is out with a shoulder injury.

Rose is averaging 16.5 points per game and has scored 28, 26 and 24 points in the Bulls' last three games.

Rose missed three games earlier in the season with tendinitis in the same hamstring.
