'Phantom' returning to Chicago
Good news "Phantom" fans, the beloved musical is returning to Chicago.
Producer Cameron Mackintosh's touring production of "The Phantom of the Opera," which last played Chicago in 2014, arrives at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in December for a four-week run, Broadway in Chicago announced Wednesday.
With a cast and orchestra of 52, this production of the Tony Award-winning Andrew Lloyd Webber-Charles Hart musical - directed by Laurence Connor with original costumes by Maria Björnson - is reportedly the largest show currently on tour.
Performances run Dec. 14 through Jan. 8, 2017, at 151 W. Randolph St., Chicago. Group tickets are available at (312) 977-1710. Individual tickets will go on sale at a later date. See broadwayinchicago.com.
