Kids spin the Wheel of Wisdom at the Vernon Area Library

Kids got a chance to spin the Wheel of Wisdom as the traveling game show came to the Vernon Area Public Library in Lincolnshire Monday.

The Wheel of Wisdom tests kids' knowledge in math, science, movies, sports, TV shows and more.

Dan Micek is the creator of the game which started its tour around the country in 1985. The company figures it has done more than 7,000 shows to date.

The hourlong show included four games, each played for a specific grade level, lasting about 10 minutes per game. Six players participated as contestants and others participated as wheel spinners.
