Ebertfest lineup filling out with new additions

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The lineup for this year's Ebertfest film festival is starting to fill out with new additions announced over the past week.

According to The News-Gazette (http://bit.ly/1LCtBVG ) in Champaign, the annual film festival started by the late film critic Roger Ebert has added "Northfork," ''Blow Out" and the 1949 classic "The Third Man" to its lineup.

Earlier, festival organizers said that "Crimson Peak" will open the festival on April 13. Director Guillermo del Toro will be at the screening. In all 12 movies are planned.

Ebertfest will run April 13-17 in Champaign and Urbana.

Ebert started the film festival to highlight movies he liked that he believed were under-appreciated.

Festival passes are on sale and tickets to individual screenings will start April 1.
