Obama has not earned a state holiday

What have Andre Thapedi and Rita Mayfield been drinking? A state holiday?

Obama may have started his political career in Illinois, but his career in Washington has not elevated him to any higher office.

He cannot get our Congress to pass a budget so he comes to Illinois to get our General Assembly together to get a budget for our bankrupt state, I doubt that it will happen.

I hope the members of our General Assembly have enough sense not to give this birthday idea a second thought, and concentrate on passing a Budget.
