Fremd Football takes the Plunge for Special Olympics at Twin Lakes

This past weekend players and coaches from the Fremd football program joined together to raise money for the Special Olympics annual Polar Plunge at Twin Lakes. 24 members and coaches plunged into the chilly waters of Twin Lakes while raising over $3,000 for the Illinois Special Olympics and placing 3rd in monies raised by a team. What started out as a few players wanting to do something community related quickly spiraled into a team and coach effort.
