Brides-to-be find bargains in Lake Zurich

After creating the floral arrangements and wedding decorations for her daughter's wedding, Laura Colleta of Wadsworth wasn't sure what she would do with the items after the September nuptials.

Until this weekend, that is, when she joined 26 other vendors selling gently used wedding decorations, dresses, shower items and more at the Wedding Luxury for Less Expo in Lake Zurich.

The event, hosted by Events with Style at the Knights of Columbus Hall, offered participants the chance to sell or buy wedding essentials and treasures at a reasonable price.

“I'm selling off my daughter's wedding decor,” Coletta said. “I have no business. It was my first wedding and my first time doing flower arranging.”
