Suns signed point guard Phil Pressey to a 10-day contract

PHOENIX (AP) - The Phoenix Suns signed point guard Phil Pressey to a 10-day contract Saturday.

Pressey averaged 13.0 points, 6.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 25 games for the Idaho Stampede this season after being waived by the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 4. He played 14 games for Philadelphia, averaging 3.9 points, 3.3 assists and 12.1 minutes.

The 25-year-old former Missouri player spent the previous two seasons with the Boston Celtics, averaging 3.1 points, 2.9 assists and 13.9 minutes in 125 games.

The Suns have lost 10 straight and 25 of their last 27 games.
