NCTV17 pilots new game show
Naperville Community Television is preparing to debut a game show, and is inviting viewers to join the audience for the inaugural taping followed by a party.
Danielle Tufano from 95.9-FM The River will host the pilot episode of Naperville Community Television's new game show, "Game On!," NCTV17's version of Family Game Night. "Game On!" will feature two teams of four players each competing in a series of party games
The pilot episode will be taped at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Center Stage Theater, 1665 Quincy Ave., Suite 131, Naperville. Doors open at 6 p.m. It's Team Nat vs. Team Nico, and residents can be part of the live television audience when the teams compete for bragging rights and the "Game On!" trophy.
Team Nat is led by Natalie Vitale, anchor for "Naperville News 17," and her teammates are Nicki Anderson, president and CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce; Chad Pedigo, president of the Naperville Jaycees; and Ray McGury, executive director of the Naperville Park District.
Team Nico is captained by Nico Haeflinger, anchor for "Naperville Sports Weekly," and his teammates are Ray Kinney, partner of the Maclyn Group and Blooming Color; Katie Wood, executive director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance; and Shannon Greene Robb, founder and president of ArranmoreArts.
After the episode wraps and the trophy is awarded, guests are invited to a "Meet the Cast" party with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets for the pilot episode and the party can be purchased online for $50 at nctv17.com/product/game-on-ticket/.
