College of DuPage offering scholarships

Applications are being accepted for the College of DuPage Scholars Awards with a deadline of Wednesday, March 23.

The awards fall into two categories: Presidential, a two-year full-tuition scholarship, and Board of Trustees, $2,500 per year for two years. Applicants must be District 502 high school graduates, Class of 2016; have applied for admission to College of DuPage; submit a 250-word personal statement on a chosen topic; submit a 500-word essay (topic given at time of application for scholarship); and have a weighted or unweighted high school GPA of 3.80 on a 4.0 scale on a seventh semester high school transcript or a minimum 27 ACT composite.
