Grain lower, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 2.50 cents lower at $4.6560 a bushel; March corn was unchanged at $3.6720 a bushel; March oats were .25 cents lower at $2.0020 a bushel; while March soybeans was 3 cents lower at $8.7940 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .68 cents higher at $1.3410 a pound; March feeder cattle was .78 cent higher at $1.5678 a pound; April lean hogs was .70 cent higher at $.7185 a pound.
