Batavia's Parksite to add DuPont market area

BATAVIA - Parksite Inc. will be the full-service distributor of DuPont Corian and DuPont Zodiaq in the geographic marketing area of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, effective April 1.

"This additional market territory is in alignment with our future growth plans and it is a great vote of confidence to be chosen by DuPont as successor in this influential specification and design community," said Parksite Vice President of Sales Tony Millhouse. "This will augment our strength in the New England market where we currently have a strong residential and commercial presence with building materials, including DuPont Tyvek",

Parksite will now market the DuPont Surfaces products in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Florida, New England and Caribbean markets. Parksite, a national building materials distributor, has been involved with DuPont Corian since 1974.

Dave Abram, a 15-year Parksite associate with direct experience in the New England market, will act as sales manager for the territory effective immediately. Currently Abram is interviewing potential associates to be fully operational in this territory by April 1. A full team consisting of residential and commercial sales associates, customer service and inside sales will service the area.
