Milligan shots lifts Hersey past Grayslake Central

Mark Milligan hit a baseline jumper with 7 seconds left to put Hersey ahead in nonconference boys basketball play against visiting Grayslake Central, and the Huskies managed to hang on for a 46-45 victory Wednesday.

Joe Coffaro leds Hersey (12-22) with 10 points, and Chris O'Toole contributed 9 off the bench.

Grayslake Central (12-12) got a game-high 19 points from Jack Beckman.
