Overnight Golf Road closings under I-90 planned this week

Golf Road will be completely closed beneath the Interstate 90 tollway bridge overnight later this week for construction work.

The road, which runs through Rolling Meadows, will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, and those same hours overnight Thursday to Friday, Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday, according to a news release.

A detour route will utilize Meacham, Algonquin and New Wilke roads for both eastbound and westbound traffic. Golf Road will only be closed under the tollway bridge, so access to all businesses along the route will remain open.
