Cooper's Hawk to open in St. Charles

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants announced Monday that it has signed an agreement to open a new restaurant in The Quad shopping center at the northwest corner of Smith Road and Main Street in St. Charles by summer 2017.

St. Charles will be the 28th location for the expanding restaurant group, which opened its first site in Orland Park in 2005. Cooper's Hawk now has locations throughout Illinois, Florida, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Virginia and Wisconsin.

"We are thrilled that Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants chose to locate here in St. Charles," said St. Charles Mayor Ray Rogina. "It joins other noted restaurants in town for making St. Charles a serious restaurant destination. Cooper's Hawk is a wonderful addition to the new Quad identity."

Cooper's Hawk has received accolades such as Breakout Brand and Hot Concept by Nation's Restaurant News. In 2014, the concept was profiled by The Wall Street Journal and Founder and CEO Tim McEnery was named Ernst & Young's Midwest Entrepreneur of the Year.

"I'm confident that Cooper's Hawk will be a welcome addition to the St. Charles community and look forward to the restaurant opening in 2017," said McEnery.
