'Noises Off' comes to Naperville North

The comedy "Noises Off" will take center stage early next month at Naperville North High School.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 4 and 5, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the school's Performing Arts Center, 899 N. Mill St.

Written by Michael Frayn, "Noises Off" is a three-act play. It opens with the final late-night rehearsal of a not-ready-for-prime-time touring production of a fictitious farce titled "Nothing On."

Missed cues, slamming doors, behind-the-scenes intrigue, and incorrect props contribute to the backstage craziness in the second act. The final act sees the cast back on front stage trying valiantly to survive a performance where everything goes horribly wrong.

Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults. They can be purchased at www.naperville203.tix.com or at the door 30 minutes before show time.
